Dear Yuletide Writer

I have a wide range of genres I like, as you might see in the range of requests I have. I love humor, world-building, fluff, character studies, and positive messages. Even dark stuff is fine as long as there's some light or hope to it. Generally, I prefer friendship stories to romance; romance is fine, but it often doesn't click with me. These requests are all for videos games and I like seeing game mechanics woven into a plot or details. I'd rather any AU aspects stay within the setting of the games; canon-divergent plots are fine (and in some cases could be quite interesting).
I tend to come up with my fanfic ideas through questioning canon thoroughly, so expect lots of questions as suggestions for a place to start. If you have your own ideas you're really interested in with these characters and games, feel free to follow those instead!

Death of requested characters- except in one case where it's 'permadeath' instead.
Avoiding gory descriptions would be preferred.

Crypt of the NecroDancer - Death Metal
I've gotten hooked on this game this year; still working on defeating the final boss, but it's really fun despite the challenge. I'm really interested in the variation of undeath here, with one's heart and life stolen to be replaced by a compulsion to move to a musical beat. What's it like to exist like that?
Death Metal got my attention for being really awesome in a game full of crazy awesome things. I mean, a skeleton who fights with a shield and is a metal rock singer? Awesome. But there's apparently no lore for him. Is he a transformed person like another boss? Then what was his life before getting trapped in the crypt? Or during that time, or after if he finds a way out of the curse? Or maybe he's really just a skeleton rocker who might go out on world tour once he can escape the crypt. That could be a fun story.
In this case, the DNW is 'no permadeath of requested character' because really, death is probably just a minor inconvenience to him and the other bosses.
Persona 2 -Yoshizaka Anna
This could be with either Innocent Sin or Eternal Punishment, or use deja vu to show both sides!
I have a fondness for the SMT franchise as a whole, and while most of my experience with the P2 duo is through LPs, I still find it an fascinating story with interesting characters (and when I have the means to, I likely will play them for myself). Anna was one of those I was interested by and wanted to see more from; she shows signs of being a good person even though she's coping with a lot from the accident, losing her talent in running, and having the world go crazy around her. it'd be great to see her pulling her life together and finding another future to pursue. Or maybe finding a way back into running again, even if it takes time. Either one of those could be set up like the Social Links of later Persona games, or taken on its own. Or maybe a story of some interactions between her IS and EP selves? She opts not to use the JOKER curse in the second game, perhaps because she has some knowledge from the first of Joker there?
Pikmin 2 - Space Bunny
Okay, I admit, this is going to be a weird one. Canonically (and spoilers!), the space bunny is a lie. But it is amusing to think of this ravenous space bunny who can cause a company to go bankrupt. Is the space bunny a real cosmic creature who threatens the livelihood of galactic traders? Especially those like the Hocotatians who like their veggies. Is it a cryptid that tabloids use for filler articles when they can't find enough celebrity gossip to report? A tabloid article on the space bunny could be funny. Or maybe it's the equivalent of mutant sewer alligators from pets people flushed down the toilet, only ejected into space? I just love the idea of a ravenous space bunny and would like it to be true, or at least a more elaborate lie.
Rune Factory 3 - Kuruna
In any other game, Kuruna might be the oddball out in being old but relatively young and unused to normal society. But in this game, she's almost normal compared to all the other oddballs around. I liked her more as she opened up, with her mix of serious tribal leader and cute chocoholic with a fireball pet. I don't have anything in particular in mind in requesting her; I just like her character and would like to see some more about her.
Even if it is a major factor in her part of the story, I would rather the racism factor be toned down or be shown as something she realizes is wrong and she works to overcome it.
Wiz'n'Liz - Liz and Wabbit
And more bunnies, but this time cute bouncy wabbits who may or may not be magical! This and other Genesis games are really nostalgic to me. There's not a lot of lore here, so there's lots of room for world-building. And character building for that matter since there's not much canon to Liz except that she's the witch, and not much canon to the wabbits except that you need to go rescue them. I'm hoping for something that matches the whimsical fantasy of this game, although there are a lot of creepy elements to the game too.
So are these wabbits magical? The magic in the game is a lot of fun and could make for an interesting tale to explore, in spelling out obscure but real words or in mixing various produce in a magical cauldron. And what is Liz's story? Is she a native of the world Pum or did she go there for a particular reason?
